This 2008 Porsche Boxster RS 60 Spyder is #268 of 1,960 examples produced to commemorate Porsche’s 1960 victory at the 12 Hours of Sebring. It is powered by a 3.4-liter flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle and is finished in GT Silver Metallic over Carrera Red Natural leather. Equipment includes the Sport Chrono Package, the Sound Package Plus, a black soft top, 19? SportDesign wheels, a rear spoiler, heated sport seats, and a touchscreen Sony CD stereo. The current owner’s family acquired the car in 2015 and it has remained within the family since who have added approximately 14k of the 37k indicated miles. This 987.1 Boxster RS 60 Spyder is now offered on dealer consignment with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, service records, spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.

All RS 60 models were finished in GT Silver Metallic, and this example is equipped with a power-operated black convertible top. Additional equipment includes a SportDesign front lower valance, a rear spoiler, bi-xenon headlights, a gloss black windshield surround, body-color roll bars, and dual center exhaust outlets. The convertible top transmission gears were reportedly replaced in March 2022 and a scrape is visible on the left-rear quarter panel.

The 19? SportDesign wheels were fitted with 5mm spacers from the factory and are mounted with 235/35 front and 265/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires said to have been installed in November 2022. Porsche Stability Management (PSM) and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) were standard equipment. Braking is handled by four-piston Porsche-branded calipers over cross-drilled rotors measuring 12.5? and 11.8? front and rear, respectively.

The cabin features heated sport seats upholstered in Carrera Red Natural leather along with a color-coordinated dashboard and carpets. Amenities include the Sport Chrono Package, a touchscreen Sony CD stereo, the Sound Package Plus, cruise control, and automatic climate control. The removed factory stereo is included in the sale, and the selling dealer notes wear on the driver’s seat outer bolster.

A serialized plate on the glovebox door denotes the car as #268 of 1,960 RS 60 Spyders produced.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a hoodless instrument cluster housing a central 8k-rpm tachometer, a 190-mph speedometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 37k miles, approximately 14k of which were added under current ownership.

The mid-mounted 3.4L flat-six is located ahead of the rear cargo area and was factory rated at 303 horsepower and 251 lb-ft of torque. The car passed an emissions inspection in September 2023.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. The RS 60 Spyder featured a revised sports exhaust system from the factory.

The window sticker shows initial delivery to Jack Ingram Motors in Montgomery, Alabama, and lists factory equipment, colors, options, and a total price of $69,925. Manufacturer’s literature, a maintenance log, service records, Blackstone Laboratories oil reports, and spare parts are also included in the sale.
